Game, community, chat
Developed for "Børnekulturens netværk" which has the status as an advisory board for the The Danish Ministry of Culture and its minister.
Artriks is a prototype of a very extensive educational multiuser community, chat, game portal and search engine aimed at children from 7 to 15 years of age. Girls and boys.
Artriks was developed with the purpose to establish whether or not children could benefit from an internet application providing knowledge about art, movies, music and literature.
The result was a prototype that mediated knowledge in an intriguing and narative form using cartoons, games, chat, stories and humor in an online multiuser community.
The result of a test perfomed on children from the target group proved that the concept was a succes.
Subsilo contributed with:- Flash programming
- Multiuser server programming
- Flash implementation of graphics and sound
